We both adamently agreed on Ian McEwan's recent "Solar". Rain forecast for the next few days, but nothing like the rock. I know the feeling of anticipation of a new book ... the sense of adventure that lies within the pages ... the chance to see how another uses this limited vocabulary we've been given ... a friend and I have been comparing notes on some books over the last couple of weeks and I'll soon start to build my winter list. The wish list on amazon is a great way to do that.
