Me and Mother (Big Corp. Father?) Church, Part 2
Sweet Jaybuzz, what gives here ?
As if there hasn't been enough scandals.
And this is a mighty serious business - retailing Christian tchotchkes pushes nearly 5 billion in annual sales.

With the current tanking of the U.S. economy, it might be a distinct possibility.

Just when you think you've heard every variation of religious hypocrisy, here's another one - the folks who believe in Christian compassion to the most vulnerable are busy exploiting the most vulnerable for every dollar they can squeeze out of them. It's precisely that hypocrisy that turned me off religion at a very early age.
ReplyDeleteExactly Nick, I find the most dedicated of religionists lack compassion for the less fortunate or different, and can harbour incredible prejudices and hate. Scary.
