Short, Short, Short, Short Story

I was tagged by Pants to write a story in six words a la Hemingway, who beautifully and succintly invented the model with this:

For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn.

Mine is:

Shopping List: Whiskey. Plastic Bag. String.

I am tagging

Laurie
Orla
Twilight
Grannymar
Hullabaloo

with this one!

  2. Oooooooooooooooh boy. i've seen this tag. I've avoided it. I am too wordy!

But WWW, I will accept your challenge. stay tuned.

As a journalist, I have always prided myself on my ability to write to length. We'll see if I can pass the ultimate test.

  3. Thank you WWW - I think!

It'll probably be in Saturday's post - if I can get my head around it.

Oh - your story and Hemingway's are both sad. Maybe there's something about this that brings on the melancholy - the one I have in mind is a bit sad too. :=(
