Bea Arthur Dead at 86

I was saddened to read of Bea Arthur's death today at the age of 86.

I loved her in "Maude" a ground-breaking feminist show and her timing and drollness were impeccable in "The Golden Girls".

Thanks for the memories, Bea. I always harboured a secret dream that you were my mother in a former life.

  5. I still watch the golden girls every sat on digital tv, when i went to the backlot on my trip to disneyworld i was so excited to see the outside of their house (how sad is that). I never even knew of the series Maude (it musn't have reached these shores) but i will now scour the internet.
    Thanks for that.
