A Bit of Bea is all I need

I loved Bea Arthur, and I previously wrote about her here.

And now I can get a daily reminder of her wit and wisdom as one of the Golden Girls, a series far ahead of its time. She lives on at a website called That's What Bea Said which has me chuckling, remembering her droll delivery of those lines.

  1. She was hilarious, wasn't she? I can still hear her droll voice as she delivered her killer lines. I love the idea of the website.

  2. It was the way she delivered those lines, nobody else could do it!

  3. I never saw The Golden Girls. I remember I Love Lucy though. And how amazingly dated that would be today with its stereotype ditzy blonde who can't do anything right.

  4. That was great! I really enjoyed watching that show. Thanks for the memories.

  5. 'How come whenever my ship comes in it's leaking' - love it :-)

Some of you are having trouble, I've removed captcha and verification so we'll see how that goes. My apologies. Blogger is putting up far too many roadblocks. Thanks for the emails alerting me.
