The smoke from the wildfires in BC and California (the Pacific ocean) has spread across Canada to our island of Newfoundland (the Atlantic ocean), affecting our weather.

We are over 7,000 km away from these fires (see distance from Vancouver on our west coast to St. John's on the east coast).
That's over 4,350 miles.
We have entered the zone of the 4 Cs = Constant Chaos of Climate Change.
What a bloody mess! Is anything being done?
ReplyDeleteIt's disastrous E and I'd say there are other repercussions too that haven't been anticipated. We are finally paying the piper and our governments are in serious denial. Rampant and abusive corporatocracy.

That's amazing, WWW - almost 4 and a half thousand miles!
ReplyDeleteIt's many (12) years ago that we went to see Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth" - we were two of a very small audience in Lawton OK, but we all applauded at the end of the film. Still very little has been done, and what tiny things have been done/started are being reversed by El Trumpo. Mad world!
BC is being destroyed, T, the whole province in a state of emergency. Yes I do remember Al Gore's but as long predicted when money is the only God, nothing will be done. It is completely alarming but I believe the rich have safe bunkers somewhere. We know our pols do. I remember driving somewhere near Ottawa and my friend (who was privy to certain knowledge) pointing out hidden bunkers to me off in the distance behind security and patrol. I was astonished.
