What kind of shoe are you?

My old granny used to always say, "sure there's an old stocking for every old shoe".

And I'm sure she was right.

But what kind of shoe are you, is the question over at Grannymar's today.

So I took the test

And here I am, much to my surprise:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You Are Bare Feet

You are a true free spirit, and you can't be tied down.
Even wearing shoes can be a little too constraining for you at times!

You are very comfortable in your own skin.
You are one of the most real people around. You don't have anything to hide.

Open and accepting, you are willing to discuss or entertain almost any topic.
You are a very tolerant person. You are accepting and not judgmental.

You should live: Somewhere warm

You should work: At your own business, where you can set the rules
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So that, like totally, explains why I'm having so much trouble finding me an old stocking...

  1. Hmmmm - interesting.

I'm a clog - and I should live in Europe - been there done that!! Been called solid before. Not a bad assessment just based on shoes.
    :-)

You are a solid and down to earth person.
You seek – and almost always achieve – a really sound balance in your life.

You are stylish yet comfortable. Mellow but driven. Excited yet calm.
You are the perfect mesh of contradictions.

No matter what happens, you have the ability to stay well grounded in your life.
People know that they can truly depend on you.

    You should live: In Europe

You should work: At a company dedicated to helping the world

  2. Shoes? Don't much like 'em except in snow. I go bare foot all the time indoors and out too. The pub next door dictates, however, so I slip on a pair of Ecco boat shoes that's taken me years to break in to the comfortable stage. And I dislike wearing socks too, damned silly things if you ask me.
Comfortable in my own skin--yes I suppose--though I'm vain enough to want to look like I did in my 40's--wrinkles--can't fight 'em just have to get used to the damned things, I guess. lol Tolerant--I'm a hemorrhaging-heart liberal so I surely guess you might call me tolerant and I'd love to live somewhere warm, say Provence, anywhere actually except So. California, which features prominently in my waking nightmares of hell on earth along with any place below the Mason Dixon line her in the States. Too flightly to own a business, but could manage very well on a stupendous trust fund I wish my gramps had set up for me, pipe dreams :-)

  3. Much to my surprise, I am bare feet also. I thought I would be clogs or something, being Dutch after all. Fun test!

  4. T:
Yes, so simple and bang on (for me too)
B: I wear Uggs in the winter so no socks, either. Birks in the summer.
    All very simple.
    Oh those lost trust funds!
    I: So B & you and I are triplets!
    Yeehaw!

  7. Twilight and I are both clogs. I suppose that's better than "clots". I agree, I should live in Europe - preferably France!

  8. Better than "clods" also, oh to live in Provence, though I hear it is becoming very Euro-trashy, whatever that's supposed to mean.
