Photo and Cartoon of the Week

This has been kicking around Facebook but I thought it worth further exposure here as it so bloody well said, yeah?

And when this shyte has to be posted isn't it hard to believe we're in 2012 and not 1812 ?

How long will it take for the females of our species (50% of us) not to be perceived as growbags?

And for those of you who may not have seen the following due to your newspapers' censoring, here's Garry Trudeau shouting out about another serious erosion of women's rights in the USA:

  2. Ovaries, womb, vagina, clitoris, mind. The church does its best to colonise and regulate the whole lot.

  3. Let's not forget this is happening in the USA and not in my country.

  4. Horrendous - and so lop-sided!
What about vasectomies - shouldn't they qualify to be a hanging offence then? Or at least force the guy to watch his little baby squigglies before deciding to undergo the snip?

  5. I note that idiot governor of Texas, Thick Rick Perry, has recently managed to pass a law excluding Planned Parenthood from the state's Medicaid Women's Health Program. Because of this the Center for Medicaid and State Operations has withdrawn it's $35billion funding for the Texas Women's Health Program (90% of the annual cost), leaving 130,000 women in the state without any available healthcare.

Of course, it doesn't help matters that the CEO of Texas' Planned Parenthood was arrested yesterday for exposing himself at a baseball game!

Men, eh! Sometimes I'm ashamed to be one.

  6. As an Indian, I now am convinced that we are advanced and the USA is underdeveloped. Our laws and attitude towards the entire gamut of family planning, is more modern.

We do have the aberration of using sonography to identify the sex of the child for foeticide, but that has now been made illegal and the doctors can be put behind bars.

  7. The USA is sometimes baffling.

As for the photo - not even the church is church property - if you know what I mean.
