And very slowly, she rose again and settled back into the hole that was wrenched from the ground by her enemy Leslie.
As if to say: I'm not done yet. I'm far from done. Figure out how I did this. Maybe you can too.

Nature is amazing and hard to credit. It will be interesting to see it next spring.
ReplyDeleteMiraculous. Quite some years ago we had to cut down a huge maple in our back yard. Several sections of the trunk were left standing here and there on the concrete patio, to hold plant pots etc. Lo, these kept sending up shoots in a valiant effort to keep growing.
