Is The Rapture over yet?

You know, the one where the rapturous Masters of the Universe take the entire remaining wealth of the starving, homeless, healthcare-less masses of the US and go off to one of their many mansions in one of their many jets and laugh as they count the loot? Where realtime socialism is finally brought to the proletariat?

Are these same downtrodden, huddled masses poised on the brink of putting another samenoid Master (or a possible Mistress) in charge of their dismal futures once again? You know, the ones bleating about changey-hopey lipsticked pigs? Where nothing of any worth is ever said? No concrete pronouncements about managing the critical issues that are bringing a whole country to the point of extinction ?.

Is everyone too sedated for a mass revolt by the endless twittering of MSM TV telling them how good they have it? (1984, Fahrenheit 451, V for Vendetta, anyone, hello?)

Where the treasury is plundered and that mass of worthless paper representing mortgages that never should have been extended is being paid for twice over by the blinkered unfortunates who keep their Masters in power while losing their own shirts?

The age of Russian serfdom is looking more like Eden every day.

  1. I think the only forces capable of mass revolt are the trade unions but unfortunately they're pretty thin on the ground in the States (UK too). And the big companies devote a lot of resources either to keeping unions out of their businesses or taming them into not rocking the company boat too much.

I can't begin to imagine how these mega-billion bailouts are going to be paid for. Probably by China and other Asian countries pumping in more investments (and getting more and more economic control).

  2. You say it so well, WWW, I think hardly anyone is listening, not to you or anybody who is trying to convey this message. They are like lambs being led to the slaughter. Something must have dumbfounded them. It must be mass produced TV programs and nothing seems real anymore. They have forgotten how to be outraged.

Or a Fidel Castro, Che Guevera type who sees clearly what is going on: the greatest transfer of personal wealth from its citizens to corporations in history! It is positively criminal.

No one is, or if they are they feel so hopeless for their beloved 'republic' that has proven to be anything but democratic. I agree it is outrageous and unconscionable.

  4. "V for Vendetta" for sure, WWW!
It ought to be the American version of that, but so far it's nowhere near. It wouldn't take a revolution if only people here would WAKE UP!!! I just cannot understand how anyone could vote for 4 or 8 more years like th last 8 - incredible that so many seem set on wreaking havoc in what is supposed to be their beloved country. GRRRRR! I am shocked that the race to the White House seems at present to be so close ! Democrats should be miles ahead.

    Rapture? No. Rupture. :-(

V gave me chills, it rang so utterly true. And of course the endless propaganda spouted by MSM in the states is the harbinger of what is to come.
