Perception

A friend posted this on Facebook today and I thought to share it here, it is so beautiful and profound.

  1. This is a profound truth.

How silly we humans are, never appreciating anything until it is gone.

  2. In 1975 Joe Miller was ahead of his time and sadly prophetic.

  5. These are beautiful words. We found a version of this on a notice board in a gallery/museum when on a trip some years ago. We took a photograph of it then; later I found it online, and discovered that it was written by Joe Miller for a children's book, illustrated by Wilson McLean.
I mentioned it in a post last year :)

  6. How very true. And of course they'd be horrified if there were tiny creatures living on it who were hell-bent on destroying it as fast as possible.
