Crystal Clear
Picture taken today from my deck, moments before a speedboat broke the sound barrier.
And these things I swear to be true:
We have to be open.
We have to be available.
We have to put it out there.
We have to suit up and show up.
We do not have 200 years to live.
We must make every moment count (see above).
I've talked about my dream book, here and here for those interested.
Well, another dream began today. At noon.
I am writing, directing and producing a play which will open in the spring and tour for the summer, with rehearsals all winter.
I will hold auditions over the next weeks and start rehearsals November 1.
Excited?
Beyond.

You must have some very special talents that you get to do all of this. Lucky you! Break a leg!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! So very exciting! I hope it goes really well, and I look forward to reading all about it as it progresses!
ReplyDeleteI hate speedboats, they totally destroy any calm, tranquil view by screaming past, saying "Look at me, look at me". The play sounds exciting, what's it about exactly?
ReplyDeleteI would say for certain that you are suiting and showing up. How exciting and what a role model you are for the rest of us. I can't wait to follow this journey with you.
ReplyDeleteThat is exciting! I'm already looking forward to hearing more about the development of your play. In the meantime, best of luck with the preparations and auditions.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky, by the way.
Continue to dream - they are becoming a reality - you have given me my early morning smile.
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful about the play. I wrote and produced five full length musicals for children with a great group of people. It is exhausting but a fantastic experience.
ReplyDeleteThe stories are still on my old website www.greenginger.com
Go for it!
just love the view of your deck and good luck or do you say break a leg on your play!!

The play is about an old fisherman and deals with senior abuse. More later.

Thank you Stan. I got a new camera so still playing with it, the manual weighs about the size of a newborn.
